Hello World is a standard first output exercise. Here we are trying to have the phrase cut by cnc machines. Below is a picture to use as a sample. If you would like to make your own, go for it.

 

Find a software conversion that will turn the picture into gcode which will drive either the micromill or shopbot through the moves.

 

Once we can convert this image into machine movement, we can put pretty much any hand drawn image onto pretty much any surface.
